Student Conduct & Policies - Iowa School of Beauty

All students who enroll at ISB are expected to assume the responsibilities of citizenship in the Cosmetology campus community. As a student of this academic community, students are entitled to all the rights and protections enjoyed by other students of this community.

Membership of the Cosmetology community is purely voluntary and any student may choose to withdraw from it at any time that the obligations of membership seem disproportionate to the benefits. While enrolled, students are subject to the ISB authority which includes the prerogative to discipline or dismiss those whose conduct is in violation of ISB rules and regulations; this may result in probation, suspension, or termination. In all cases involving violations of ISB rules and regulations, appropriate hearing and appeal procedures are available.

The President of ISB or the designated delegates have the authority to establish and administer the disciplinary process.
