Graduation and Licensing Requirements

How long does it take to get a nail tech license in Iowa? The process includes completing our 325-hour program (15 weeks) plus exam preparation. We will issue a diploma once you have fulfilled the hours and met all academic and financial requirements. When you successfully pass the State Board Exam and apply for state licensure, you will receive your official Nail Technology License in the State of Iowa, allowing you to work as a **licensed nail tech** anywhere in the state. Payment

Payment Schedule Options

Methods of payment for the application fee, equipment kit, textbook and tuition are as follows:

  1. Paid totally in advance.
  2. Paid in installments of $2,000 for the first month and $1,775 per month for two additional consecutive months.
    If the student fails to complete the course within 18 weeks, the student will be charged at the rate of $14/hour for additional instruction.
