Student Services

All staff members provide personal guidance and emphasis in personality development and positive attitudes.
When necessary, students are given counseling and assistance in regard to available housing.
Students are guaranteed access to their files.
Information about a student will be released only upon written permission from the student (or parent or guardian, if the student is a dependent minor) each time that information is requested, unless otherwise required by law. 
ISB provides & permits access to student and other school records as required for any accreditation process initiated by Iowa School of Beauty or by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences, or in response to a directive of the Commission. Before publishing any directory information about a student such as name, address, telephone number, date and place of birth, major field of study, dates of attendance, degrees, awards or prior schools attended; ISB will allow the student or guardian to deny authority to publish one or more of these.
