Iowa School of Beauty offers financial aid for those who qualify through the following approved programs:

FEDERAL PELL GRANTS:

The U.S. Department of Education provides grants to students enrolled in eligible programs based on financial need. These grants do not have to be repaid. To apply, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is available in the school's financial aid office.

FEDERAL STAFFORD STUDENT LOANS:

SUBsidized - This loan is awarded on the basis of financial need. You will not be charged any interest before you begin repayment or during authorized periods of deferment. The federal government "subsidizes" the interest during these periods.

UNSUBsidized - This loan is NOT awarded on the basis of need. You will be charged interest from the time the loan is disbursed until it is paid in full.
